Coach Morgan
Dr. Morgan Meese, PT, is a physical therapist, cash-based private practice owner, and business coach for other rehab therapists seeking more.
When Morgan started her very first big-girl job in healthcare, she was over-the-moon excited to start seeing her very own patients. She had always been into health & fitness, and she LOVED the fact that she could use exercise to help people heal from pain. She couldn't wait.
As the months continued, the more Morgan saw that the emphasis in her clinic wasn't patient outcomes or about the individuals walking through their doors; it was about getting as many patients on caseload in order to bill as much as possible.
Morgan felt like she was giving it her all, but it was taking everything from her. She was constantly exhausted, stressed, and she slowly started to feel her passion for health & wellness fall away. She felt lost.
So Morgan did something about it.
She started her own cash-based solo practice.
Morgan started working out of a Crossfit gym seeing patients 1:1, and her passion started to come back. In the spring of 2020, she began working with clients online via telehealth, added online strength coaching, and now sees clients in her garage gym.
Morgan realized there are so many ways that she can help people as a therapist. That's what she wants for others too.
Pairing her own experience with her clinical knowledge, Morgan decided to start DPT to CEO for other ambitious therapists just like her so that healthcare providers everywhere would have one source for actionable strategies that they could implement themselves, without burning a hole in their pocket, and still get all the support they need along their journey.
Coach Sam
Meet Dr. Samantha "Sam" Ritz PT, DPT, an accomplished Physical Therapist from Dallas, Texas, with a
distinguished background in athletics and sports. A first-team NCCAA All-American tennis player from McMurry University, Dr. Sam went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University
of North Texas Health Science Center.
After treating & then managing an outpatient orthopedic clinic, which led to burnout & frustration with
the insurance based healthcare model. Dr. Sam founded her private practice, FX Physical Therapy, which
emphasizes personalized, holistic care tailored to the pickleball & tennis player’s unique needs.
Dr. Sam’s extensive expertise spans physical therapy evaluation, dry needling, cupping, instrument-assisted soft
tissue manipulation, clinician-facilitated overstretch, injury prevention group classes, and injury
prevention screening.
As a business coach, Dr. Sam leverages her experience and success in building a thriving physical therapy practice to help aspiring physical therapists launch and grow their own businesses. With a focus on how to build community in order to properly market to your IDEAL patient, she guides her clients in creating personalized, flexible service offerings that prioritize patient goals and holistic treatment approaches.

Coach Karen
Meet Dr. Karen Tanso, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist, and passionate entrepreneur. Karen graduated from Simmons College in 2014 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. From the start of her career, she has specialized in pediatrics, working in a variety of outpatient clinics and schools in the Boston area before starting her own private practice, Inchstones PT, LLC in 2022.
Driven by a lifelong dream of owning her own business, Karen initially faced the challenge of navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship. Her journey took a pivotal turn in early 2023 when she discovered the DPT to CEO program, where she quickly uncovered her passion for business strategy, marketing, and content creation. This newfound passion led her to help other local therapists and small business owners with targeted marketing and advertising, sharing her knowledge and helping them grow their businesses successfully.
Although she continues to grow Inchstones PT and enjoys treating patients, Karen has expanded her role as a business coach and marketing consultant. By combining her hands-on experience as a pediatric therapist with her business and marketing expertise, Karen offers a unique, holistic approach to coaching.
Through the DPT to CEO program, she hopes to help students be successful and confident in their marketing and social media content to help grow their practices.
Coach Taylor
Meet Dr. Taylor Kirk, a doctor of physical therapy, pelvic health marketing consultant, and business owner. Taylor graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, TX with her doctor of physical therapy degree and returned to her hometown of Emporia, KS, where she practiced as a physical therapist for 3 years.
During her time in clinical practice, Taylor began to see the challenges of corporate healthcare that are faced by both patients and providers. It was at this time Taylor knew she wanted something more from her career and her profession.
Although Taylor is a physical therapist by trade, the confines of a non-compete, not uncommon in the corporate healthcare setting, prevented her from starting her own practice. To fill the void and stay connected to the industry of physical therapy, Taylor dove into all things business and marketing, developing skills valuable for growing any business. It was then she realized her skills as a physical therapist were not limited to treating patients, but that she could do so much more.
With Taylor’s hopes of staying connected to physical therapy, specifically her passion for pelvic health, she decided to start her own pelvic health marketing business - The Pelvic Marketer. During her time as a business owner, she has helped other practice owners grow their businesses through targeted digital marketing strategies, providing individualized services to each one of her clients.
As a business coach, Taylor’s experiences as a physical therapist, successful business owner, and marketing consultant allow her to bring a unique perspective to students within the DPT to CEO program. She is able to assist them in all things business and marketing to ensure their success during their entrepreneurial journey.

Step 1: Therapy Business Basics
Your first step is to complete Therapy Business Basics -- a mini course with an easy-to-follow 4 step process that will take you from knowing absolutely ZERO about how to set up a business to being able to start seeing patients ASAP, including the simple way to start doing your own documentation.
Suggested time to complete: 1-4 weeks
Step 2: Practice by Design
This step is your quick start guide to building a business with purpose! Craft a vision to deliver care on your own terms. This will help you create clarity on what you want your business to look like as well as the transformation you're offering to clients in order to help you market & sell with confidence!
Suggested time to complete: 1-4 weeks
Step 3: Mindset Magic
Set yourself up for success by building a solid foundation, learning how to work for yourself, and how to prioritize your mindset front and center, getting rid of limiting beliefs. Your biggest obstacle is yourself and you have the option to shift your mindset.
Suggested time to complete: 1-3 weeks
Step 4: Successful Solo Sales
Begin your sales training here -- learn how to have confident conversations, make solid offers, and understand how to best communicate what it is that you do and how you help others, all while conquering objections and crushing barriers.

Step 5: Beginner's Guide to Digital Marketing for Healthcare Professionals
Put yourself out there confidently and develop a plan to start attracting your ideal patients and clients. We cover basic marketing concepts, the client journey, social media, website/SEO, building an audience, networking, email, hosting events, and paid advertising -- all with exact steps to help you get everything up and running!
Suggested time to complete: 1-3 months
Step 6: Data & Systems for New Business Owners
Now that you've gotten everything up and running, you've started working with your clients, it's time to start putting systems in place so that you're able to consistently bring in new clients and nurture your current caseload. Plus, make sure that you're taking care of yourself along the way so that you can continue this journey!

How is this different than other programs?The DPT to CEO Program offers a hybrid learning opportunity, where there are courses for self-paced learning, as well as support from other students and mentors. This can be great for people who need high-touch assistance and individualized plans of action, while having an expert basically in their back pocket. DPT to CEO is also a program focused on experience-based learning -- resources are provided to help you on your way and to help you implement to build the business of your dreams. By the end of the program, not only will you have a full practice, but also the business know-how and skills that will transfer to other business-related opportunities that may come down the road.

How long is the program?The timeline for getting your practice up and running can vary, depending on how much time you have to dedicate to building it. If you are starting from complete scratch & would like to build a full caseload, the typical timeline is at least 6 months. Based on Morgan's work with dozens of other therapists starting a solo practice, here are some estimated timeframes: If you're working full time, the typical timeline is roughly 12-18 months to reach a full caseload. If you're working part time or less, the typical timeline is roughly 6-7 months to reach a full caseload. If you're working solely on your own practice, you may be able to achieve a full caseload in less than 90 days. Since the timeline can vary depending on your unique situation, we offer different payment options that fit you where you are in order to help you succeed. "Full caseload" being defined as somewhere between 8-15 patients, but this differs by practice owners.

Is the content all available at once?It is not! And let me tell you why... One of the biggest problems I hear from therapists new to business (and who have been in business for over a year) is feeling simply overwhelmed and distressed about the sheer amount of information that you need to digest in order to make any progress forward. To help with this, I've designed an interactive roadmap experience that promotes you taking one step at a time to guide you on your journey. You can choose the pace and new content unlocks as you go, but you're only offered one piece at a time to make it less overwhelming and easier to accomplish. Most clinicians can complete all of the content in 6 months.

What is the cancellation policy?Self-Paced Program We offer a 30 day refund policy. Coaching All contracts are binding. We do not offer refunds on coaching services. We are here to coach you to your highest level of success, and part of that is requiring a commitment from you that you are fully invested in your coaching package. When refunds are an option, you can have “one foot in” the work, and “one foot out” the door. If you’re in, you need to be 100% in, just as I will be for you.

Hmm, maybe I should just wait to see how I do on my own instead.Hey, no problem. Each person is going to have their own individual path on this journey. However, if time and growing your own business are priorities for you, the right time to get started is right now. The longer you delay investing in your professional growth, the longer it will take you to get to where you want to be. Not to bring the vibe down, but I've seen it time and time again with other entrepreneurs and the most successful are the ones who take action and invest in themselves. There's always going to be a reason to put something off. All that will do is lose you time, which you will never be able to get back and you'll always be wondering what could have been if you had taken that first step.

Does the self-paced program have coaching?No, the self-paced program does not come with coaching. You do have access to a private Discord server to ask questions as needed and Morgan, her team, and/or other students will be able to get back to you.
